Business Development Manager

The Opportunity
 
Our client is a leading Merchant Service Provider offering businesses the most secure and innovative payment solution. This includes credit and debit card processing, Cash Advance Solutions, advanced and reliable card payment hardware and e-commerce payment solutions.
 
They currently provide payment solutions that are secure, fast and easy to thousands of businesses and processes millions of transactions annually.
 
They are seeking an engaging, dynamic, entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to market our credit/debit card processing services, ePOS and mobile payment solutions to hospitality and retail businesses across London.
 
The Role
 
Responsibilities:
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships with business owners in London, starting with small to medium-size establishments and working your way up to mid-market businesses
  • Explaining Merchant Hub’s payment processing, payment technology and ePOS services in simple, effective and consultative terms to our target clientele
  • Collaborating with the Sales Director to prepare and present competitive sales proposals and presentations
  • Build a self-generated pipeline of clients through phone calls, working sales opportunities in your chosen area and face-to-face meetings
  • Attend appointments set by our call centre
 
The Candidate
 
  • 2-3 years of business development or consultative B2B experience in merchant services
  • Proven and traceable record of achievements in sales
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Computer literacy (Word, Excel, Outlook is a must)
  • Outside and direct sales experience is a big plus
