Commercial Product Manager

The Opportunity

This role will be primarily responsible for driving growth through the creation of key sales propositions based around our existing key capabilities, and providing Product Marketing support to the broader commercial team.
The roles key focus will centre on:
  • Delivering new propositions into the sales team across the business regions
  • Bundling existing products to create more compelling propositions
  • Day to day management of BAU product activities for a part of the portfolio
  • Assisting in Product Marketing of some of our more strategic efforts
They will be the product champion throughout the lifecycle of the Product Family and will become an expert in the features, benefits and capacities of a new Universal Aggregator product suite, overlaid with other company/third party assets (in the form of overlaid services) - to deliver against the current and future needs of our customers.  Using inputs from customer, the market, and business teams, he/she will create and deliver compelling business offerings, supported with clear definition and messaging to drive business sales & financial results.
This role is designed to help position the company for market growth in the changing Payments & Banking landscape and to deliver against compelling events such as scheme ubiquity, PSD2/Open Banking, NPA.

The Role
Generate revenue growth, in-line with the company target of 20%
Optimise the performance of our products against our key customer and business metrics
Delight our customers with new, unique value propositions that help them make the most out of their money
Provide lots of examples of defining and building great experiences for customers, and answering all of the difficult questions that came up
Balance and solving complex problems within a fast-changing environment
Operate outside of their comfort zone and deal with ambiguity by reacting quickly to the needs of the customer and to a transitioning business 
The Candidate
Ownership / custodian (Mini-MD)
Entrepreneurial / commercial drive
Strong focus on customer value propositions and packaging up technology to solve an identified problem
Adept at virtual team working - lead and motivate virtual team
Engine room: empathy for sales and technology
Customer facing experience
B2B and B2B2C expertise
Digital & Cloud experience
