Corporate Account Manager

The Opportunity

The Role
 
This role takes full ownership of the delivery and execution of an outstanding level of service and performance from our larger businesses
 
You may be asked from time to time to carry out alternate suitable reasonable requests in line with business need.
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Acquiring a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements via quarterly business reviews
  • Build strong relationships and become a trusted advisor to all key account contacts to ensure they gain maximum value from our product and integrated apps
  • Support the sales process for 10+ system deals/high potential growth accounts to secure the deal and increase book value
  • Ensure that all professional services requirements are understood, priced accordingly and delivered within agreed SLA’s
  • Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner
  • Serve as the link of communication between corporate customers and the software team
  • Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust
  • Play an integral part in generating new business leads via referrals
  • Prepare regular reports of progress, forecasts and any blockers preventing growth
 
Success Measures
 
  • Generate minimum performance threshold of £90k per quarter made up of revenue and additional recurring sales
  • Grow the recurring book value of accounts in line with the progression model (outlined below)
  • Generate referral leads each month in line with salary band (outlined below)
  • Quarterly review meeting with all accounts completed
  • All accounts have an account plan in place outlining future growth opportunity for revenue and recurring
  • All account plans must outline plans to integrate with one of our preferred suppliers for merchant services
  • Customer satisfaction +85% across all accounts measured quarterly post QBR meeting
 
 
 
The Candidate
 
  • A proven key account manager of a book value upwards of £100k in value
  • Experienced in sales and providing solutions based on customer and industry needs
  • Experienced in account planning to accurately forecast growth plans for each account
  • Able to highlight the ROI for product improvements linked to future growth within accounts
  • Highly motivated self-starter with a desire to continually learn and develop themselves
  • An excellent communicator/relationship-builder both internally with colleagues and with externally with customers and senior stakeholders
  • Able to effectively and clearly communicate in all written communication
  • Well-organised, with great attention to detail and have the ability to prioritise tasks quickly and effectively
  • Commercially aware of hospitality and retail industries
  • Experienced in b2b solution sales and/or account management
  • Happy to travel within a national role
  • Positive approach, flexible and comfortable in a fast-paced, customer focused environment
