Head of Partnerships

A key requirement is to manage a nationwide team of heavily incentivised sales people and support them in developing their specific lead lists within industry niches which include automotive, energy switching, merchant payments, loyalty & reward, retail etc.  Working for a rapidly growing & dynamic emerging payments brand with big growth ambitions/plans. 

The Role
 
Responsibilities:
 
  • Expand a partner identification and management capability for agreed territories that maximizes indirect sales opportunities and partner capabilities
  • The role will be responsible for building and managing a vibrant partner network which will facilitate a multi-channel approach to lead generation and delivery both nationally and internationally.
  • The role will be required to leverage extensive and proven industry contacts
  • Responsibilities for negotiating partner agreements, managing partner relationships, agreeing sales strategies with the partner and representing my client in sales negotiations worth prospective clients. Be responsible for implementing a partner maintenance and communications plan to ensure that partners remain engaged, incentivized and current on my client’s products and services
 
The Candidate
 
  • Have a demonstrable ability to build, develop and maximise partner potential, including with complex, global technology firms
  • Be demonstrably able to collaborate at a global level with partner firms, to define and agree joint sales propositions, but also have the ability to drive local tactics to ensure effective sales execution
  • Understand revenue models, P/L, and cost-to-completion projections and make decisions accordingly.
  • Contract negotiation techniques and approaches
  • Be able to understand my client’s pricing models and contribute materially to their development
  • Understand and contribute to my client’s sales strategies and product development plans
  • Accurately forecast partner development budgets and revenues as well as be able to develop profitability models margins, and in conjunction with the product team and head of consulting develop appropriate resource demand plans.
  • Have a detailed understanding of all contractual obligations and constraints
  • Develop an environment where individuals are expected to over perform in their duties
