Sales Director

The Role

Ideal candidates will display the ability to build a compelling business case and sell a new concept to various stakeholders ranging from CMO to CRM Manager, through to CFO and Affiliate Manager.  Working with internal teams you will lead the design and presentation of promotional campaigns that drive client sales efficiently and effectively. In addition to winning new clients, you will be tasked with presenting campaign results and developing long term strategic relationships with the leading national brands in the UK. The role is fully client facing and the incumbent should be comfortable with interactions at the most senior levels of an organisation. Candidates will need to exhibit exceptional sales, marketing and analytical skills.

Leverage a unique view of consumer spending, to establish and develop senior level relationships with many of the UK’s leading companies.  You will; 
Compete for a significant share of advertising budgets
Gain a deeper understanding of advertising technology
Become a true strategic partner for your clients with the actionable insights we provide 
Prospect, penetrate and develop key UK retailer and/or restaurant operator relationships
Create and present needs-based solutions via in-person meetings, telephone and webinar using industry knowledge, market trends and the companies marketing solutions
Accurately forecast and develop business plans that strategically build account revenue within a defined vertical market
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to drive revenue growth with new and existing customers
Analyse campaign performance to recommend optimisation opportunities specific to each client’s goals, metrics, and objectives
Provide and share key learnings and best practices with team members
Ensure sales and client satisfaction through world-class customer service 

The Candidate
5+ years’ experience in marketing services, digital media, or marketing platform sales or business development; experience selling into and senior marketing contacts within Retail and/or Restaurant verticals a plus.
Knowledge of and experience within the payments industry and/or card linked marketing desirable
Degree required 
Proven track record of successfully growing revenue through the winning and development of long-term strategic relationships
Strong analytical capabilities and an understanding of online and offline media
Excellent oral, written and visual communication skills
The ability to perform complex analysis yet deliver a simple message
A desire to learn and apply new technologies
Innovative thinker, entrepreneurial, tenacious, with a desire to exceed sales revenue goals
Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment
